Geology
Short characteristics of the site: Road cut with outcrops of coarse-grained volcaniclastic sediments. They can be classified as redeposited tephritic pyroclastic rocks. They exhibit oblique stratification and contain except of voolcanic material also clasts of Cretaceous sandstones. Volcanologically interesting locality.
Regional geologic unit: Bohemian Massif - superficial deposits and post-Variscian magmatites - Tertiary - Basins under Krušné hory Mts.and adjoining volcanic uplands
