Geology
Short characteristics of the site: A ridge formed on the NW margin of the Intrasudetic Basin, having the character of a cuesta (Janovice cuestas) lined with cliffs max. 10 m high. The inclined plateau is formed by Cenomanian to Lower Turonian sandstones, and is topped by tors, some of which have the shape of mushroom rocks. Rock basins are locally developed. Bohemian Cretaceous Basin, part of the Protected Landscape Area Broumovsko.
