Geology
Short characteristics of the site: A relict of a sandstone plateau at Zdoňov near Teplice nad Metují. It is formed by Middle Turonian to Coniacian sandstones, dipping SE, with various landforms of pseudokarst relief including cliffs and pillars. A canyon-like valley transects the western hillside. Bohemian Cretaceous Basin.
