Geology

Short characteristics of the site: Complex of abandoned and/or flooded quarries still with traces of former quarrying. The amphibolite-biotite granodiorite represents main rock type. This granodiorite is intensively weathered in places and also sphaeroidal jointing can be observed. Some flooded quarries represent diving centrum.
