Geology
Short characteristics of the site: Rocky wall approx. 16 m high at the road. Trutnov Formation, type locality of the middle part of the formation, Permian, Saxonian. Rythmic interbedding of redbrown conglomerates, sandstones and siltstones. Sharp erosional planes and other erosional forms, diagonal bedding and channel deposits are recognisable. Due to the selective erosion highly calcareous banks are weathered out.
