Geology

Short characteristics of the site: Natural outcrop of a dyke of the olivine nephelinite. In the surroundings also outcrops of melilite olivine nephelinite several metres thick. Petrologically interesting locality.
Regional geologic unit: Bohemian Massif - superficial deposits and post-Variscian magmatites - Tertiary - Basins under Krušné hory Mts.and adjoining volcanic uplands
Stratigraphy: kenozoikum - terciér (paleogén - neogén)
