Geology

Short characteristics of the site: Intrusive body made of Li- micaceous granite which belongs to a younger intrusive phase of the Variscan Karlovy Vary pluton. This locality yielded 245 mineral species some of them being first times described in the literature. Greisen penetrates through migmatites, gneisses and micaschists. Sn-mineralizatio is represented by cassiterite.
