Geology
Short characteristics of the site: Comparatively large area with eolian sediments. Their thickness varies between 2 and 20 metres. They are well sorted, mostly quartzose with small feldspar admixture. They lie on two gravel layers, the lower of which is of the Last Glacial age, whereas the upper one of the Middle Pleistocene age.
