Geology
Short characteristics of the site: Natural outcrop of unsorted massive coarse-grained agglomerates with partly rounded clasts of lavas of variable character. It is supposed that these agglomerates are products of lahars, i.e. volcanic mudflows. Very interesting regularly shaped holes which even pass into caves. Volcanologically very significant locality.
Regional geologic unit: Bohemian Massif - superficial deposits and post-Variscian magmatites - Tertiary - Basins under Krušné hory Mts.and adjoining volcanic uplands
Stratigraphy: kenozoikum - terciér (paleogén - neogén)
Subject: volcanology, sedimentology, lithology
Geological phenomenon: horizontal section, pseudocrast cave, lahar, volcaniclastic deposits
Genesis: volcanic
Rock: agglomerate, volcaniclastic deposits
