Geology
Short characteristics of the site: Morphologically rugged area with canyons and gorges developed in the Cenomanian sandstones. This area is located in the marginal parts of the Vysoké Mýto syncline. Oldest Cretaceous sediment are represented by deposits of the Peruc Beds (Cenomanian), dominant relief forms consist of sandstones of the Korycany Beds (Cenomanian). Geomorphologically significant locality, also of sedimentological interest.
