Short characteristics of the site: This road cut exposes a contact between Proterozoic and Paleozoic units. The contact has a typical character of angular unconformity. Cambrian sandstones, conglomerates and shales overly Proterozoic phyllitised shales and siltstones. Tectonically disturbed. This section is unique from the global viewpoint.
