Geology

Short characteristics of the site: Thick soil cover on the rocky basement. Many siliceous concretions were found in the soil. They contain typical fauna of the Šárka Formation, mainly trilobites, brachiopods, pelecypods, ostracods and others.
Regional geologic unit: Bohemian Massif - crystalline complex and pre-Variscian Palaeozoic - Bohemicum (Central Bohemian region) - Barrandien
