Geology

Short characteristics of the site: Erosional gully exposing sediments of the Klabava Formation. They consist of claystones with typical fauna. Small outcrops of sedimentary oolitic ferrolite can be also seen. These ores were previously exploited.
Regional geologic unit: Bohemian Massif - crystalline complex and pre-Variscian Palaeozoic - Bohemicum (Central Bohemian region) - Barrandien
