Geology
Short characteristics of the site: Silesian and Subsilesian units. Old abandoned brickyard with outcrops of sediments of the Istebňany and Rožnov beds of the Upper Cretaceous age. Their sequence consists mainly of alternation of siltstones with claystones. Thin sandstone beds are also present. Some massive sandstone beds, as thick as 50 cm, with bioglyphs and mechanoglyphs, also occur. Siltstones and claystones yielded faunal remains, mainly pelagic foraminifers. Pelosiderite concretions were also found in fine grained sediments.
