Short characteristics of the site: Valley of Ohře River with natural outcrops. Series of exposures of Březno Beds (Březno Formation), stratotype of this unit. Consists of marlstones, glauconitic sandstones with many calcareous concretions. Rich macro-microfauna. Stratigraphical reference locality.
