Geology
Short characteristics of the site: South Bohemian basins, Cretaceous. In a sand pit sands of the uppermost parts of the Cretaceous Klikov Beds are exposed. They are medium- up to coarse grained, of quartzose character and contain variable amount of gravel. Cross bedding and lenticular bedding are distinct.
