Short characteristics of the site: Area of groundwater abstraction in the Svitava River valley. Water comes from the glauconitic sandstones of the Bílá hora Formation and marlstones to sandstones of the Jizera Formation. Groundwater circulation in the Ústí nad Orlicí Syncline is locally affected by a transevrse fault.
