Geology
Short characteristics of the site: Carpathians, Magura Group of Nappes. Small outcrops on a flat elevation. Tectonic and facial position of this locality and sediments is not yet solved. Calcareous subgreywackes together with clays and homogeneous marls crop out there. Rich nannofauna was found in these sediments. Depositional environment can be characterized as a turbidite fan below calcareous compensation depth.
