Short characteristics of the site: Calcareous clayey sandstones of the Březno Formation, Bohemian Cretaceous Basin, exposed in a stream bank. They contain fragments of fossil bivalves. Fine- and coarse-grained sandstones of the same unit are exposed higher up the slope.
