Short characteristics of the site: Old gravel pit exposing24 - 30 m thick alluvial fan. Its formation was bound to the tectonic uplift of the Chřiby and also to climatic changes. Geologically significant locality (Permaphrost, ice wedges, cryoturbations, + porcelanites from Medlovice.
