Geology
Short characteristics of the site: Barrandian, Lower Cambrian. Natural outcrops and old small quarries exhibiting basal part of the Middle Cambrian sequence - the Mileč Conglomerate. These conglomerates are fine grained, made almost entirely of quartz pebbles. They are of marine origin, locally show cross bedding, and contain fossils, mainly brachiopods´and trilobites. Underlying Neoproterozoic spilites crops out nearby.
